I think you're right! lol

Sad thing for me is it's about an hour drive to the nearest bookstore, so it will be hard to keep myself awake -- but it will be a memory maker.

Metallica -- love it. They play MY music on the oldies station now -- sigh!

I really want to go to a HP party this time around, too. The next time I'm in my local Borders I'm going to ask if they're having one. It's funny; I've been to release night parties for certain bands (most memorable one was Metallica's "Black" album), but never for books - and I have spent MUCH more money for books in my life than I've spent on albums!

I envision the HP party as being very loud and active until the bookstore opens at midnight - then a huge loud rush to the shelves and lots of chattering while standing in line waiting - and then a massive crowd of nearly-silent people because they'll all be reading, LOL.

I have not read the last HP book yet -- it sits on my shelf. I'd best get to it! We have never attended a HP party, either, and it's my plan to drive an hour to a real town that has a real bookstore and attend.

You are really making me miss cub scouts! Although we replaced it with the model train club and ceramics classes, I'm not involved and I miss that -- I miss the kids, the adults -- but not the work. ;-)
