Your room looks great! I can't believe you did it all on your own. I listened to a book on tape while cleaning too called, "Getting Things Done" by David Allen. It was fun to learn new ways of organizing and implement them.

Once again, Kudos!

Wow...you did an amazing job. What a wonderful transformation. Doesn't it feel good! Hopefully the rest of the family will feel good too and help in keeping it tidy. I'll have to try the motivational tape idea...it was hard to get motivated on my room (although having the messy "before" pictures posted on my blog sure helped to motivate me).

I love your pantry area...and the laundry area as well. Great, great job!!!

Carrie, have you considered freecycle or craigslist? I found them to be the answer for all the stuff I have accumulated. I post the items, tell the responders they can pick them on from my porch, and that's it.

I am in the process of moving out of a decrepit mobile home and into a new one (in the same space). I have taken the opportunity to get rid of SO much stuff! Yet when I look around I see so much more to do.

Thanks!
What's "next" is still the whole house. I am resisting the urge to take pictures of our front and back porches to show all of the stuff I've gotten out of here so far. Honestly, you'd never know it if you looked inside the house. There's still too much stuff. And while waiting to take that stuff on the porches away, we are *so* looking like the trashy neighbors who store all their junk in their yard and front porch. It's killing me!
