MySpace and Update On Homeschooling
Okay, I’ve finally given in and gotten a MySpace page. Ugh.
Don’t laugh… I only did it because folks kept trying to send me to their photo albums there and it kept telling me “you have to be logged in to see that!â€. Grr. Anyhow, since it’s such a popular fad, maybe it’ll help me get back in touch with a few old friends. If you’ve got a MySpace page, come on over and add me.

One thing I still can’t wrap my head around is why all these people I don’t know keep sending me add requests. Is it just a big competition to see who can have the most “friends Sorry, but I want my actual friends to be in my friends list. Evidently these folks haven’t learned that the secret to friendship is quality, not quantity.
Update on the boys and the school situation… Kelsey decided to come back home and homeschool. Brendon’s still there, he’s having fun even if he’s not really learning anything. From an educational standpoint, it’s a severe waste of time. 10 hours of his weekdays spent doing nothing but “socializing†(as the public-school supporters love to call ’sitting at a desk not talking and doing worksheets’); but from a little-boy standpoint he’s made a lot of friends and is enjoying his time. So, meh. Let him have fun. He’s said maybe he’ll just finish out the year and then come home and homeschool next year. We’ll see next summer how he’s doing and make a decision then. I’m just glad Kelsey came home. Going to school did have one positive effect… he doesn’t give me a bunch of guff when I tell him it’s time to do his work. He truly *knows* what the alternative is now.
The kids are looking forward to Halloween. Speaking of which, we’ve got a pumpkin to carve. Talk to ya later.
